紅型の技術・技法を守りながら、現代的な柄や色を取り入れた
オリジナルのデザインを作成いたします。
一旦手染めした布をデータ化し、プリントして
作品を創っていますので、布の質感が活かされています。
紅型の素晴らしさをたくさんの人に知っていただき、
その可能性を見出していきたいと思います。

hisami yoshimizu is a Bingata artist.
Bingata is an Okinawan traditional style cloth dyeing
method that started during the 14th century.
After using the traditional methods of dyeing, she transfers the print to
digital form and from there can apply the print to almost
any type of product.
hisami’s goal is to introduce this beautiful style of art,
Bingata to the rest of the world using diverse
possibilities of application and accessibility to the consumer.
